Welcome Pitkin Paraders! These pictures are not pictures of the crowd, but are instead pictures of the faces that made Dawn smile. These faces smiled when she was a bit closer to us and she would want them to keep on smiling. Dawn's smile is what I will remember most. No matter how bad things got, and they sure got bad, she always had a smile on her face. We looked through a lot of old pictures of Dawn and family/friends and she was smiling in every one. Well, she might have been having a drink in a few, but a smile was sure to appear soon after. Peace, Love, Light... Light... The word photograph means drawing with light. I am a photograph person rather than a video person (its like arguing cats vs. dogs) because a photograph shows things the way that you want to remember them without all of that reality thrown in. Like most things in life, it takes a certain inner peace and a lot of love to do it right. Dawn was a master of making things the way that she wanted them to be - so remember that she wanted you all to keep on smiling and even if its a little forced from time to time it will make you feel better and bring more Peace, Love and Light into the world.
